Why donate by debit order?

Donate blankets, food, pet products, kennels, bowls etc. As we head into winter we need more blankets to keep the animals warm.

Volunteer your time. Come in and walk, brush and interact with the animals. Animals in kennels need a lot of interaction so that they do not become institutionalized.

Attend our fundraising events. Fundraising forms the bulk of our income - If our fundraisers are well attended there is more income to better care for the animals. Host a fundraising event for us.

Host a fundraising event for us. We are a small volunteer group and get exhausted with the ongoing fundraising. It would be wonderful if you could help with an event of your own to make money for our cause.

Tell people about us. Word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising.

Adopt a pet from us. Give one of our rescues a warm loving home. There are so many to choose from.

Membership

The success of HAWS is completely reliant on its members. HAWS needs you, the members of the community, to become involved in ensuring better care for ALL the animals in the Madibeng area. Are you aware that the health of the pets that live 2 blocks away from you have an impact on the health of your own pets. Help us to raise awareness by becoming a member of HAWS. As a member you will be kept up to date regarding the latest animal health information in your area. The HAWS annual membership costs only R100 per annum. Junior Membership

HAWS has introduced an exciting Junior Membership Category. This membership is for members of the community that would like to get involved with HAWS but are under the age of 16. The membership fee is R50 per annum that entitles the Junior Member to join the club. The Junior membership is geared at involving young members of the Madibeng area in initiatives to improve the general health and welfare of animals in the area.
