The NLDTF relies on funds from the proceeds of the National Lottery. The Lotteries Act identifies the manner in which NLDTF funding may be allocated. The Minister of Trade & Industry, on the recommendation of the industry experts in the relevant Distributing Agency, makes the policy that guides the allocation of funds to beneficiaries. It is the aim of the NLDTF that the grants made will make a difference to the lives of all South Africans, especially those more vulnerable. The NLDTF is dedicated to improving sustainability of the beneficiary organisations it funds. The NLDTF currently has in the region of R2 billion a year to distribute to registered non-profit organisations in the fields of charities; arts, culture and national heritage; and sport and recreation that meet the advertised qualifying criteria. The NLDTF places emphasis on areas of greatest need and greatest potential, so that all South Africans can gain from, and contribute to, South Africa’s development.

Red Ninja Design Studio, the brainchild of Renay, was formed in 2007 and although we’re the new kid on the block, our growth potential is huge.
Elaine and Renay both have worked in their respective fields as marketer and designer and have accumulated ten years of experience between them, in both the private and public sector.

While Elaine will be thinking outside the box with marketing proposals and ideas, Renay will be giving them life on paper, screen or any other given media – yes, there are no restrictions. With our creative juices flowing, nothing stands in our way and the impossible becomes the conceivable. Utilising the available electronic resources, we have successfully designed for clients in America, Australia and England proving that the global highway of communication has no bounds.
We believe it’s essential to have fun, thus leaving no boundaries for our creative energy. So what kind of people are we? We are entertaining, funky, vigorous creatives, full of ideas, aiming to channel our creativity to create the master pieces you’re looking for.
We are passionate about visual arts and our motivation comes in any form. This passion has enabled us to provide quality services and products at affordable prices.
We’re all for effective and efficient visual communication to send the message that you want your clients to get. And we do this ethically, with style and class.

: In animal nutrition, there are some who look to man, the owner, and use him as the starting point for innovation. At Royal Canin, we put the animal at the heart of our innovation process. It is a radically different approach but it is the only true, rigorously scientific way. This method which focuses on the dog or cat, distinguishes Royal Canin from other companies and the improved quality of life of dogs and cats through optimum nutrition confirms our philosophy every day.

The mission of Santa Paws Drive is to bring holiday cheer to shelter animals around the world. Pets with homes are often showered with gifts and treats for Christmas, and we believe that shelter animals deserve a little holiday love, too! Now in its second year, the Santa Paws Drive is the first-ever online Christmas toy drive dedicated to pets. Their ultimate hope is that each of these dogs and cats finds a forever home, but if that doesn't happen, they want our furry friends to wake up on Christmas morning to gifts and toys and treats… and a little extra cash to help the shelters out.

Norman Catherine

In 1969 he held his first solo exhibition consisting of oil paintings on wood, bone, wire and an assortment of found objects. His art has since undergone several metamorphoses, from the pristine airbrush paintings of the 70s to the frenzied, ritualistic mixed media works of the early and mid 80s; the wire sculptures and tin can works of the late 80s, and the primitive-futuristic paintings of the early 90s which provided the seeds for his pre-millennial menagerie of anthropomorphic beasts. In the thirty years spanning his past and present output, Catherine’s visual trademarks have included rough-edged comical and nightmarish forms, rendered in brash cartoon colours. His idiosyncratic vision - a combination of dark cynicism and exuberant humour, as well as his innovative use of everyday materials, has secured his place at the forefront of South African contemporary art.
